Our last increase was effective July 17th, as we watched copper climb from a June
average of $2.60 to July’s $2.87. It continues its trend upward, today sitting at over $3.03, a further increase of over 5.6%. We need to address copper’s rising cost, as well as the increases in aluminum. To cover this trend, we’re moving our cable pricing up in the range of 5%. We’re issuing a new price file, TK47 9-2-20, which reflects a 12-2 MC price of $365.00/Mft. For specific details, please contact your local agent.
Please also be aware that we will be monitoring order intake and will not accept orders larger than your typical one week buying volume pattern.
