We continue to see material costs increase.

Copper has risen by 22 cents since our last increase issued back on August 31st. Today, it’s sitting at just under $3.20, 6.9% higher. In addition to copper, costs are rising on steel, aluminum and PVC, as well as a 50% rise in cost of plywood reels. All of these require us to address our pricing, and therefore, we’re issuing an increase effective close of business Friday, October 23rd, so effective Monday, October 26th. The new pricing is to push cable pricing up by about 6%. The new price file is CN01-26-20. For specific details, please contact your local agent.

Please also be aware that we will be monitoring order intake and will not accept orders larger than your typical one week buying volume pattern.
